Transparency

The $ZEX token went live on June 27, 2024. The Zeta Foundation is committed to maintaining the highest levels of accountability and transparency in all operations. In line with this commitment, this document shares the wallet addresses that manage $ZEX token transfers, providing the community with complete visibility into all related activities.

Type of Transactions

Token transfers are periodically executed to fulfill the allocation plans for $ZEX as outlined in the $ZEX Whitepaper, which includes:

• Initial Airdrop Distribution: 80,000,000 $ZEX

• Staking Airdrop Distribution: 20,000,000 $ZEX

• Epoch-Based $ZEX Incentives for Traders: As described in the Trading Rewards Program

• Epoch-Based $ZEX Incentives for Market Makers: As detailed in the Maker Rewards Program

In addition, contributor and investor tokens will be allocated to dedicated wallets from December 2024 onwards.

Methodology

$ZEX token distributions are managed using a Merkle tree distribution system. This method compresses the distribution data into a single Merkle root published on-chain, allowing for large-scale distributions while minimizing gas costs and maintaining Zeta’s commitment to transparency and security.

As of December 2024 contributor and investor tokens will be separated into their own wallets:

• Contributor Token Wallet: 3zmHxC1mUBvJZJ7VQ2MLsniZZqnn9i5C2wdRyzNfrbAN Tokens allocated to contributors will be moved to this wallet and held before and during the vesting period, which begins on June 27, 2025.

• Investor Token Wallet: EibcRbs9iDDm2bQtv9rezwMc6wKxMt5rhnwRK5HqyrAT Tokens allocated to investors will be moved to this wallet and held before and during the vesting period, which begins on June 27, 2025.

Wallet Addresses managed by Zeta protocol

• Zeta Protocol Admin Address: p5r5Dyf7UPR2xPJewr4UqZbcYfRpXySTXmHqNAnWPUQ This address is an operations address used to hold incentive tokens ready for distribution to market makers and traders. These tokens will be subsequently distributed to eligible wallets using the Merkle tree distribution system.
